Netflix has announced three Tamil titles for the year 2026. After the political series with Dhurandhar actor Madhavan in the lead, the streaming giant has announced a light-hearted series #Love. Malayalam actress Aishwarya Lekshmi leads this Tamil series along with actor Arjun Das. Here’s more about the #Love series and its teaser.
What is #Love series on Netflix
Love is the second Tamil title announced by Netflix India on February 3, as it unveiled its slate of upcoming releases for 2026. Along with the announcement, the platform also released a teaser, which promises a love story set in the world of dating apps.
Aishwarya Lekshmi plays the lead role of Tara, who is the CEO of a dating app but who is also single. Arjun Das’ character is shown quizzing her on whether compatibility is enough for a good relationship. She replies that if there is good compatibility, then chemistry would follow. The glimpse offers several light-hearted moments of the two lead characters.
The series is helmed by Balaji Mohan, while it is produced by Soundarya Rajinikanth, the daughter of the Tamil superstar.
#Love also marks Aishwarya Lekshmi’s digital debut. Notably, this is the third consecutive Tamil title for Aishwarya Lekshmi after films such as Maaman and Thug Life. Her last Malayalam release was the horror comedy Hello Mummy.
Arjun Das’ recent releases include the Telugu flick They Call Him OG and Kumki 2.

Netflix has announced several new films, series and renewed shows on February 3. Apart from the series Legacy and #Love, Netflix has announced a Tamil original film, Made in Korea, starring actress Priyanka Mohan in the lead. The teaser of the film shared on social media showed a young woman from Tamil Nadu, who dreams of going to Korea. Though she reaches her dreamland, not everything turns out the way she wished for. Another Tamil series to be announced was Legacy, starring Madhavan and Nimisha Sajayan, which promises a gripping political tale.
But the major announcement of the day is Ikka, starring Hindi actors Sunny Deol and Akshaye Khanna. The third Tamil title, Made in Korea, was also announced with Priyanka Mohan in the lead. The Telugu series Super Subbu and Takshakudu were also announced on Tuesday.
