It's official! The digital rights of Bharath Niwas and Vani Bhojan's upcoming film, Love has been acquired by Aha Tamil. The film is a remake of the Malayalam film of the same name and is helmed by newbie RP Bala. Love marks the 50th project of Bharath and the supporting cast comprises Radha Ravi, Vivek Prasanna and Daniel Annie Pope in important roles. The Tamil version is bankrolled by Bala's RP Films.

Ronnie Raphael, who had earlier composed the music for Udhayanidhi Stalin's Nimir, has scored the music. Love has cinematography by PG Muthiah and editing by Ajay Manoj. Though the film is a family drama, which revolves around a husband and wife, there is a thriller element as well, including an unplanned murder. The trailer has already piqued the interest of people.

The first look of the film was unveiled by none other than Malayalam Superstar Mohanlal. The film's director Bala had earlier worked as a dialogue writer for films like Puli Murugan, Lucifer, Kurup, and Salute.

The Malayalam version had Shine Tom Chacko and Rajisha Vijayan in the lead and was written and directed by Khalid Rahman. The film garnered positive reviews from everyone , due to its premise, story setting, dialogues, screenplay and performances. The original hit screens on January 29, 2021.

Bharath's character will be on the lines of a psychopath, going by the trailer and is billed as a comeback for the actor, who is desperately looking for a hit. The actor was last seen in the anthology Story of Things, in which he appeared in the episode Weighing Scale. He also has in his kitty, his long-delayed film, Munnarivaan, Malayalam project Samara and his Telugu film Hunt.

On the other hand, Vani Bhojan was last seen in Paayum Oli Nee Enakku and the web series Sengalam, a political thriller.
