Ace filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali turned 62 on February 24. He hosted a birthday bash attended by several Bollywood celebrities. However, the Love & War cast—Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal stole the spotlight. The trio posed with the director and grabbed headlines.
Love & War cast attends Sanjay Leela Bhansali's birthday
Sanjay Leela Bhansali hosted a birthday party on Monday evening (February 24) in Mumbai. Apart from his close friends, the party was attended by his Love & War cast, Alia Bhatt, Ranbir Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal.
Alia stunned in a cream top and matching trousers. She wore heels and also carried a bag. Ranbir Kapoor donned a blue shirt and white pants. On the other hand, Chhaava star Vicky Kaushal opted for a black full-sleeved T-shirt and matching pants. Meanwhile, the birthday boy SLB wore a black kurta and white pyjama for his special day.
About Love & War
Love & War will be the first collaboration of Vicky Kaushal with Sanjay Leela Bhansali. While Ranbir Kapoor worked with this director for his debut film, Saawariya, Alia Bhatt did a Bhansali film Gangubai Kathiawadi which brought her the National Award.
In January 2024, the film was officially announced and the makers wrote, "We Bring You Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Epic Saga Love & War. See You At The Movies."
Earlier, while talking about Love and War, Bhansali told The Hollywood Reporter India that this film is truly unique. It's modern, devoid of pillars, costumes, and horses. The music is unique, and the filmmaker is having fun with it.
