Right after news about Love & War delay started to create headlines, a source confirmed that the movie is on track and that there is no update on a delay from the production house. The little birdie shunned off the delay speculation to News18 as 'baseless' and re-asserted that the movie is on track for Eid 2026 release. Love & War is scheduled for March 19, 2026 release alongside Yash's Toxic.

Love & War already pushed from Christmas 2025 to Eid 2026 release

Love & War was initially supposed to release on Christmas 2025. The date, however, did not work out for the movie for more than one reason. The movie, despite having big names like Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Uri-famed actor Vicky Kaushal, would have clashed with Aamir Khan's Bollywood comeback film, Sitaare Zameen Par. Probably to avoid the clash and pave way for Aamir to be back, the makers decided on the delay. The other reason is that it being an SLB film, this one would be made on a massive scale, which would require time. That caused the first delay. Given that the movie was already postponed, there was concern if 'Rockstar' Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Chhaava star Vicky Kaushal could manage another delay for the movie. The latest reports state that there would be no delay at this point.
