Lovefully Yours Veda will see Venkitesh and Rajisha Vijayan share the screen yet again. The film, directed by Praghesh Sukumaran, will see Venkitesh in one of his first lead roles, and the actor is excited to say the least.

In an interview with Sony Music South, Venkitesh said that he felt proud, excited and stressed all at once, at the prospect of the film’s release. “Even though we put a lot of work into this film, ultimately everything is in the audiences’ hands. We will only be truly happy if the audiences love it as well, and only then will we feel like our efforts have yielded fruit”.

The film will see Venkitesh take on the role of Jeevan Lal, a student activist. The actor revealed that his character is inspired by real life people, and spoke of how director Praghesh had made sure to go over the character with the former in great detail.

The director meticulously explained everything about Jeevan, from his personality to mannerism to body language. He had even prepared a sketch of the character so that Venkitesh got a better idea of what Jeevan looked like. Adding that he too contributed a bit when it came to Jeevan’s look, the actor went on to say “Pragesh was so clear about the character you would think that it was inspired from his own life”.

Lovefully Yours Veda marks Venkitesh and Rajisha’s most recent collaboration, after the 2021 film, Kho Kho. Mahesh Bhuvanend, Sreenath Bhasi, Gautham Vasudev Menon, Anikha Surendran, Chandhunadh, Appani Sarath, Nilja K Baby, Sruthy Jayan, Manoj Payyanur, and Shaju Sreedhar also essay important roles in the film.

Radhakrishnan Khalayil and Ruvin Viswam have produced the film, written by Babu Vayalathoor. Rahul Raj is the film’s music director.

Lovefully Yours Veda will be released in theatres on March 3, 2023.
