Lovely Star Prem's daughter Amrutha Prem to make acting debut with Dhananjaya's Daali Pictures

The team of Daali Pictures, actor Dhananjaya's home production house, recently announced that the funnyman Nagabhushana will play the main lead in their next venture Tagaru Palya. The film, helmed by the debutant Umesh K. Krupa, is the first in the Daali Pictures' slate of projects which shall proactively promote young and budding Kannada talent belonging to various disciplines of filmmaking. 

In this vein, the team has now announced their decision to launch Nenapirali Prem's daughter Amrutha Prem through Tagaru Palya. Taking to social media a short while ago, Dhananjaya and the core team of Daali Pictures shared the first glimpse of her character in the upcoming film and also pen a few thoughtful words ahead of her journey. The special announcement comes on Amrutha Prem's birthday who looks all geared up to test the Sandalwood waters.

"We, at Daali Pictures, are delighted to launch our beloved Nenapirili Prem sir's daughter through our film Tagaru Palya. May Amrutha Prem shine and grow as the daughter of this lovely land," wrote Dhananjaya in his post.

Interestingly, Prem's son Ekanth made his full-fledged acting debut earlier this year in Jadeesha K. Hampi's Guru Shishyaru. Ekanth Prem features as one of the many young artists who are part of the kho-kho collective put together by Sharan's character in the film.

As far as Tagaru Palya is concerned, the film is set against a rural backdrop with the many quirks, eccentricities, and traditions of a specific region featuring prominently in the narrative. Reportedly, Tagaru Palya refers to a special meal prepared by villagers as part of their ritualistic offering to their deity. In a recent interview with a media outlet, Nagabhushana said that he was particularly kicked about donning the role as he privy to the world that the film is set in. Tagaru Palya will only be his third film in the capacity of a lead actor.
