Now that Loveyapa is out, so are the netizens' views on the movie starring Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor in the lead roles. Much to everybody's surprise, Loveyapa comes without cliches. Another thing that Twitterati loves about this release is that it educates. Here's everything they said...

Expect awkward surprises, twists

Netizens are pleasantly surprised with Loveyapa. They feel that the rom-com is not cringe-worthy and despite some awkward surprises, it is full-on entertaining. Avoiding cliches, and the very fact that it educates, is also something that Twitterati has been able to connect with.

Loveyapa's Box Office performance

Loveyapa marks Aamir Khan's son Junaid Khan and Boney Kapoor's daughter Khushi Kapoor's big screen debut (they made their acting debut with Netflix projects Maharaja and The Archies respectively). While one would expect that Loveyapa would perform at the Box Office, that is not exactly the case and there are two reasons for it. Himesh Reshammiya, who enjoys a cult following, released his movie Badass Ravi Kumar alongside Loveyapa. The film could bring in Box Office numbers. And the bigger reason is the re-release of the cult classic, Sanam Teri Kasam. Starring Harshvardhan Rane and Mawra Hocane in the lead roles, this film enjoys a grand following and thus, the re-release has everybody excited to watch this film on the big screen. Thus, Loveyapa is likely to take a hit at the Box Office and mint only Rs. 1.30 crore on day 1.

About Loveyapa

Loveyapa, backed by Aamir Khan and Boney Kapoor among other producers, is the Hindi adaptation of the Tamil film Love Today. The plot of the movie is that the girl's father asks the couple to exchange their phones for one day. With it, their relationship is put to the ultimate test - to the extent that they question their deep feelings towards each other too. The movie brings Junaid and Khushi together on the big screen for the first time ever.
