Lucifer Season 6 streaming date announced, know when to watch Tom Eilis starrer series' final season

After dropping the fifth season in two parts, the makers of Lucifer has announced the streaming date of the final season on Netflix. The fantasy superhero series starring Tom Eilis in the titular role is releasing on September 10 this year. The makers announced the date with a 73-second long video summing up the whole series. The video ends with Lucifer descending with fire in his hand while Chloe is with an injured Michael (his twin brother).

In the next scene, he is pulled up by a cop for drinking alcohol while driving and Lucifer tells him, "I apologise, this is my last night in LA."

The video is described as "All bad things must come to an end. The final season of Lucifer premieres on Netflix on September 10th."

As per Deadline, the date announcement was made at the recently concluded Comic-Con@Home.

(Spoiler Alert!) Season five ends with Kevin Alejandro's character Detective Daniel Espinoza aka Dan dying in the series. Talking about the same, Joe Henderson, the executive producer of Lucifer said on the panel, "Kevin actually pitched us him dying because he’s like, ‘It’s the last season, and everyone has grown to love this character. We were in early goings-on and it sort of stuck with us as we went on. So it’s Kevin’s fault, really."

When Tom was quizzed if he will continue solving cases in the sixth season, he replied that it's in his DNA now and added that there may be an odd thing to solve but he’s got a lot of mysteries.

Along with Tom, Lucifer also features Lauren German as Detective Chloe Decker, DB Woodside as Amenadiel, Lesley-Ann Brandt as Mazikeen, Rachael Harris as Dr Linda Martin, Aimee Garcia as Ella Lopez among others.
