Lucky Baskhar OTT release date: When and where to watch Dulquer Salmaan, Meenakshi Chaudhary's blockbuster thriller

Lucky Baskhar is Dulquer Salmaan's new Telugu film, which hit the screens on October 31, 2024, to a very positive reception. The period drama has already grossed just over Rs 100 crore at the box office and is still playing in a few theaters in Hyderabad. 

Lucky Baskhar locks its OTT release date

On the release day, we at OTTplay reported that Netflix had bagged the digital rights to Lucky Baskhar. Now, we have come to know that Lucky Baskhar will be available for streaming from November 28, 2024. An official confirmation has been made by Netflix with a swanky new poster. 

Lucky Baskhar was produced by Naga Vamsi under his Sithara Entertainments banner. He made a deal with Netflix to release the film on OTT within a month of its theatrical release, securing a solid revenue stream, which will be realized on November 28, 2024, when Lucky Baskhar arrives on OTT.

The film needed to earn close to Rs 30 crore to break even, but it has surpassed Rs 50 crore share and has garnered profits for all parties involved. The rights for other languages have also been sold at reasonable prices, and given the film's strong performance, distributors have made handsome profits.

Lucky Baskhar features Meenakshi Chaudhary as the female lead, and her performance has been widely praised. The film’s music, composed by GV Prakash, along with his background score, is one of its major strengths. With the film’s success, Dulquer Salmaan is now seen as a new superstar in Telugu cinema. He has significantly increased his fee and is earning well for his upcoming Telugu projects.

The story revolves around a banker who embezzles money from his bank and uses it in illegal activities. The plot unfolds in a gripping manner.
