Lucky Lakshman: Sohel, Mokksha's family entertainer to commence principal shoot today

Bigg Boss Telugu fame Sohel is on a film-signing spree. After being in the news for his film Mr Pregnant recently, the actor is all set to work on a family entertainer titled Lucky Lakshman. Mokksha plays the female lead in the project which was formally launched in Hyderabad the previous week. AR Abhi, who has written the story, dialogues and screenplay, is also directing the film. Lucky Lakshman marks the production debut of Haritha Gogineni and Ramya Prabhakar under Vaishnavi Arts and Dattatreya Media.

The makers of Lucky Lakshman have confirmed that the family entertainer will go on floors today. They had released a quirky promotional video to announce the same. In the video, we see two aspirant actors (who will play on-screen pals to Sohel in the film) desperate for a film opportunity. While both of them feel they have little chance of finding a place in the project, the director confirms that both of them will feature in it while adding that Bigg Boss-fame Sohel plays the lead role in it. The duo tries to flatter Sohel later and be in his good books.

The film's launch event held in Hyderabad recently was graced by director Praveen Sattaru, producers C Kalyan, Miriyala Ravinder Reddy, Bekkem Venugopal, Puppala Ramesh, Appi Reddy and actor Raja Ravindra, to name a few. Devi Prasad, Raja Ravindra, Sameer, Kadambari Kiran, Shani Salmon, Sridevi Kumar, Ameen, Anurag, Master Roshan, Master Ayaan, Master Sameer, Master Karthikeya, and Jhansi play important roles in the entertainer.

Anup Rubens, who is also scoring the music for Shekar, is roped in as the composer. While I Andrew is the cinematographer, the film will be edited by Prawin Pudi. Bhaskarabatla is the sole lyricist for the same while the various songs will be choreographed by Vishal. Prudvi is the stunt director and Charan is the art director respectively. The director had stated that Sohel had agreed to do the film in the very first narration and thanked his producers for the opportunity. Sohel too expressed his confidence on the film and claimed it had a strong story.
