Vikrant Rona is only days away from potentially becoming the new global phenomenon but the lead-up to this is certainly not devoid of celebrations. Fans were recently treated to the amazing trailer of the film, which they received with great jubilance, and to make things better, the makers have released the second single from the soundtrack.
Title Lullaby Song – Rajkumari, the new single comes as a special ode to fatherhood and the beautiful relationship that a father shares with his daughter. “A father’s love his daughter,” said Anup Bhandari in his tweet and also added that the lyrics of the song came straight from his heart – the filmmaker also shared the lyrics of the Lullaby Song a day prior to the release to express his deep connect with it. The song has been released in the form of a lyrical video.
As the lyrics suggest, the song captures the endearing relationship of Sudeep’s titular character in Vikrant Rona with his on-screen daughter. The film, aside from being a fantasy-adventure spectacle, is in essence an emotional story and the Lullaby Song captures the same crux of the story. Kiccha Sudeep and others too have alluded to the fact in the recent press meetings that the film will boast of a sensitive and sweet story that will tug at the hearts of the audience.
Anup Bhandari has put his wide range of skills on display here. Apart from being the writer and director of the film, he has also penned many of the songs in the Vikrant Rona album and lent the film’s music his unique perspective – he has also written the lyrics of Ra Ra Rakkamma. Ajaneesh B. Loknath, who has also scored the background music, has shown his versatility and revealed the tender side of the film through the Lullaby Song. Vijay Prakash’s mesmeric voice makes this a soul-stirring number.
The Lullaby Song – Rajkumari will be released in four other languages (lyrical video) July 3 onwards on consecutive days. Vikrant Rona, the film, will release worldwide on July 28.
