LURK: Saiju Kurup-starrer thriller portraying man-animal conflict to hit the big screen soon

The makers of the Malayalam upcoming film, LURK, have confirmed the wrap of its shoot. It has also been revealed that the movie, which features Saiju Kurup in the lead role, will hit the big screen soon.

The film is directed by M A Nishad, who is known for his works such as Best of Luck, Vairam and No. 66 Madhura Bus. The director claimed in a social media post that LURK will start important discussions on a variety of platforms.
"My debut film Pakal—India’s first feature on farmer suicides—was made with a deep sense of social responsibility. Two decades later, I feel that same sense of purpose guiding me again. This time, the focus is on the pressing issue of man-animal conflict, an issue that’s both contemporary and critical to our society," he wrote on Instagram.
Nishad revealed that several young talented actors as well as popular Malayalam actors would be featured in prominent roles, but he did not disclose any information about the cast. Kerala Talkies, his own production company, has bankrolled this movie. Sources claim that LURK's post-production work is moving forward. In the upcoming days, more information about the movie, including its release date, is anticipated.
M A Nishad's Iyer in Arabia to stream on Sun NXT
A year after its theatrical release, Iyer in Arabia is scheduled to make its digital debut. Starting on May 16, Sun NXT will stream the family comedy drama, which has Dhyan Sreenivasan, Urvashi, and Mukesh playing the main characters. Kudumba Sthreeyum Kunjadum, Dhyan's most recent film, is also available for streaming on the same portal.
Sreenivasa Iyer, portrayed by Mukesh, is the protagonist of Iyer in Arabia. He is a retired government employee. His relationship with his wife, Jhansi Rani and his son, Rahul Iyer, are strained as a result of his conventional perspective. But when Rahul moves to Dubai for a job and starts seeing a girl of a different religion, their lives take a hilarious turn.
