Ma Behen: Ravi Kishan on sharing screen space with Madhuri Dixit; 'Admired her work for decades'

Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri are all set to reunite with a comedy drama, directed by Suresh Triveni, as per reports. The film is tentatively titled Ma Behen. The actor previously worked together in Anees Bazmee's Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3, co-starring Kartik Aaryan and Vidya Balan. Ma Behen is reportedly set to land on Netflix. Amid this, Ravi Kishan, who also joined the cast of Ma Behen, opened up about sharing screen space with Madhuri.

During an interview with Hindustan Times, Ravi Kishan expressed excitement about sharing screen space with Madhuri Dixit in Ma Behen. He said that Madhuri has been such a big superstar, and everyone has admired her for decades. 

"It’s a great feeling. I had the opportunity to work with Sridevi ji, but never with Madhuri ji — so this is a big charm, saubhagya hai ki unke saath kaam karna. Triptii, India’s new sensation, is also part of the film, so God-willing, it’ll be a beautiful project," he said.

Ma Behen is a comedy drama starring Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri in the lead roles. The Laapataa Ladies actor said that he feels fortunate to join the Ma Behen cast. He said, "It's an exciting character in an entertaining film, and people have never seen me in such a character before. It is a wonderful, heartwarming, romantic, and affectionate role!"

Pepping Moon reported that Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri will act in a comedy drama, Ma Behen. The film is being produced under Vikram Malhotra’s production banner, Abundantia Entertainment, and will directly land on Netflix. The film is being directed by Suresh Triveni, and it is a character-centric comedy-drama focused on three main characters. Madhuri Dixit and Triptii Dimri will play the mother-daughter duo at the center of the story. The cast also reportedly features Dharna Durga, a popular digital creator and influencer.

Ravi is currently working on several projects, including Son of Sardaar 2, the Bhabi Ji Ghar Par Hai film, Maamla Legal Hai Season 2, and Dhamaal 3.

Speaking about balancing acting and politics, Kishan said, “Yes, I can manage both my constituency work and shooting well. I am grateful to my party for the liberty they give me. In my second term as an MP, I have also put up the most questions in Parliament.”
