Maa song Humnava OUT: Shreya Ghoshal's magical voice rightfully captures Kajol's emotional journey with daughter

Maa is an upcoming mythological horror film. Starring Kajol in the lead role, the film is produced by the makers of the hit 2024 film Shaitaan. After the trailer gained attention, the makers dropped the first track of the film, titled Humnava, today, June 10. The song embarks on a soulful journey of love and emotion.

T-Series has released the first track of the Maa movie, titled Humnava. Voiced by Shreya Ghoshal with additional vocals by Jubin Nautiyal, the music video captures Kajol's soulful journey of love and emotion with her daughter, sans her husband. The clip is beautifully dedicated to all the mothers, without whom the world would be incomplete for a child. In the music video, Kajol can be seen spending quality time with her daughter while remembering the beautiful time she had spent with her husband. 

The music is composed by Rocky Mehr Bano Khanna - Shiv Aneeta Malhotra. The lyrics are done by Manoj Prema Muntashir Shukla while music is arranged by Vaibhav Pani.

Maa, starring Kajol, is a mythological horror film where a mother fights demonic forces to save her daughter from a haunted place. The story revolves around a mother and daughter who find themselves in a dangerous forest where a demon seeks the girls' blood. Kajol's character, a mother's protector, must use supernatural powers to fight against evil entities and protect her child. The film explores the eternal struggle between good and evil, delivering spine-chilling suspense and intense drama.

Maa is a pan-India release and will be available in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Bengali. The film will be out on Netflix after its theatrical run. Meanwhile, Maa will hit theatres on June 27, 2025.
