Rajkummar Rao-Manushi Chhillar's song Naamumkin is out, and it is all about their cute but wobbly love story. Although he is seen giving her the princess treatment initially, something in her switches and the differences start showing up by the time the song comes to an end. Of course, this has a lot to do with what Maalik's profession really is. Nonetheless, she appears to accept him even when angry.

About Maalik

Maalik is the Hindi adaptation of Fahadh Faasil's movie, Malik. The original film (direct-to-OTT release on Amazon Prime Video back in 2021) was directed by Mahesh Narayanan and also starred Nimisha Sajayan, Vinay Forrt, Jalaja, Joju George, Dileesh Pothan and Indrans in supporting roles. The movie itself was loosely inspired by the real-life incident of the 2009 Beemapally police shooting.

Apart from Rajkummar Rao and Manushi Chhillar, Maalik features Prosenjit Chatterjee, Medha Shankr, and Huma Qureshi in pivotal roles. The movie is set in UP and is scheduled for July 11 release in theatres.
