Maalik Teaser Reactions: Fans bowled over Rajkummar Rao's intense avatar; 'Best actor for a reason'

A new Hindi action-packed film is upcoming, titled Maalik. Starring Rajkummar Rao in the lead role, the film promises intense action sequences filled with blood. The makers released the intriguing teaser today, June 3, and fans took to the comments section to praise Rao's acting. The film is directed by Pulkit and will hit theaters in July 2025.

The Maalik teaser has been garnering a lot of attention. In the teaser, Rajkummar Rao can be seen in his dark avatar, who claims what's his with intense action sequences. The teaser indeed proves why Rajkummar is a versatile actor. 

Praising the teaser, one fan said, "Best actor for a reason." Another commented, "Rajkumaar rao is back is bar killer looks.. Hatke action." A third fan said, "Finally R R , IN DANGER MODE."

Not only fans, but celebrities also praised the Maalik teaser. Taking to Instagram stories, Kareena Kapoor Khan wrote, “looking amazing. Good luck team…kill it.” 

Arjun Kapoor wrote, “Excited to see this madness on the big screen… Bring it on.” Rajkummar’s wife and actress Patralekhaa commented, “#Maalik is here and added fire and firecracker emoticon tagging husband Rajkummar Rai.”

Rajkummar Rao's work front

Rajkummar was recently seen in Bhool Chuk Maaf, a completely opposite genre from Maalik. Bhool Chuk Maaf is a romantic comedy film where Rao plays a small-town boy, Ranjan. He is in love with Titli, but to marry her, he must secure a government job. After illegally getting a government job, Ranjan gets ready for the marriage. However, he gets stuck in a time loop as he wakes up on his Haldi day again and again, creating a mess and hilarious chaos. 

The film, directed by Karan Sharma, the film is currently running in theaters and as per reports, it will land on Amazon Prime Video on June 6.

Meanwhile, Rajkummar also reportedly has a film directed by Shoojit Sircar. It's a two-hero comedy film. Apart from this, the actor is also in talks for the Sourav Ganguly biopic.
