Comedian-turned-actor Soori, who has wowed the audience in films like Viduthalai, and Kottukkaali, is all set for the release of his next film as the lead, with Maaman. The film is a family drama that you can watch along with your loved ones. But before you book your tickets, here is everything you need to know about the Soori starrer.
Maaman is set to release in theatres on May 16, Friday. The film will release along with DD Next Level featuring Santhanam, and Yogi Babu’s Jora Kaiya Thattunga.
The trailer of Maaman was released a few days back, revealing the plot of the film. It shows a maternal uncle who is eagerly awaiting the birth of his sister’s child. As he takes care of his sister, and his nephew after his birth, the trailer shows the endearing moments the uncle and nephew share. However, a conflict ensues, and the duo are separated.
Maaman has a runtime of two hours and 32 minutes and has been given a clean U certificate by the censor board, making it a film that can be watched by all age groups.
The post-theatrical streaming rights of the film have been bagged by ZEE5. You can stream Maaman on OTTplay Premium once it completes its theatrical run.
