Maamla Legal Hai Season 2 is all set to be released on April 3 on Netflix. Ahead of it, the makers unveiled the trailer. Ravi Kishan returns as the ambitious V.D. Tyagi in Maamla Legal Hai Season 2, ready to finally become a judge. But his dreams collide with the trademark chaos of Patparganj District Court.
The trailer of Maamla Legal Hai 2 begins with V.D. Tyagi dreaming about finally becoming a judge. He envisions a grand entrance and even a Michael Jackson-like celebration at his swearing-in ceremony. But everything quickly goes wrong, perhaps he has taken the wrong oath and is not actually a judge yet.
Back at the Patparganj District Court, the familiar team returns with their usual chaos. There’s a funny argument about renaming their chamber, which results in the acronym NEBA (Negi, Balli, and Associates). Meanwhile, Ananya Shroff returns with her Harvard background, but her colleagues keep teasing her about it. A new character, Naina Arora, joins the group and doesn’t hesitate to mock Ananya either.
Speaking about the series, Ravi Kishan said that coming back as VD Tyagi in Maamla Legal Hai Season 2 feels like coming home to a very crazy, very lovable courtroom.
"The response to the first season was overwhelming, and as actors, we dream of roles that stay with people, and Tyagi has become that for me. With Season 2 of Maamla Legal Hai, the humour is richer and the relationships are deeper. The audiences will find more honesty, warmth and emotion in the chaos and comedy of this world," he shared.
V.D. Tyagi, played by Ravi Kishan, is a lawyer aiming to become Bar Association President, often using questionable methods to win. Ananya Shroff, played by Naila Grewal, is a Harvard graduate bringing legal idealism.
Sujata Negi, played by Nidhi Bisht, is a cynical foyer lawyer seeking her own chamber. Vishwas Pandey, played by Anant V. Joshi, is the court manager, called the Donna of Patparganj. Mahinder Phorey, played by Yashpal Sharma, is Tyagi's rival.
