Vijay Antony, who was last seen in Hitler, is gearing up for the release of his next titled Maargan. The film will release on June 27. On the OTT front, the film’s post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by Prime Video, which will stream the film after the theatrical run.

Maargan is helmed by editor-turned-filmmaker Leo John Paul in his debut and presented by Vijay Antony’s home banner, Vijay Antony Films Corporation. You would have seen Leo John Paul’s works as an editor in films like Attakathi , Soodhu Kavvum, Indru Netru Naalai, among other films. He also won the Tamil Nadu State Film Award for Best Editor for the 2013 Tamil film Idharkuthane Aasaipattai Balakumara.

The upcoming film is a murder mystery crime thriller, with Vijay Antony playing a cop in this world of detective fiction. Actors Samuthirakani, Brigida Saga, Mahanathi Shankar, Prithika, Vinodh Sagar, Deepshikha, Kalakka Povadhu Yaaru Archana, Kanimozhi, and Anthagaram Natarajan are part of the cast. The technical crew of Gagana Maargan includes Yuva S as cinematographer and Raja A as art director. Besides starring in the film, Vijay Antony will also be scoring the music for the film.
