It was only a few days ago that we had shared that Sivakarthikeyan had begun dubbing for his upcoming film, Maaveeran. Now, the latest we hear is that the actor has completed dubbing for his portions.

The actor dropped pictures from the dubbing studio on his Instagram handle and captioned it, "Completed my dubbing for #Maaveeran Extremely happy with this journey and eagerly awaiting to show you what @themadonne and his team has made (sic)." The pictures of the actor are doing the rounds on the internet.

Last week, a video in which Sivakarthikeyan is seen inaugurating the dubbing session after a pooja ceremony did the rounds on the internet. The film is the second one for Aditi Shankar, who made her debut with Muthaiya's Viruman, in which she teamed up opposite Karthi.

This is the maiden collaboration between Sivakarthikeyan, Madonne Ashwin and Aditi Shankar. The star cast comprises Yogi Babu, Sunil and Saritha. Madonne Ashwin shot to fame after he bagged the National Award for Mandela, a political satire, which starred Yogi Babu in the lead.

While Bharath Shankar has scored the music, cinematography is by Vidhu Ayyanna and editing is by Philomin. Raj Kumar Gangappan and Arun Venjaramoodu are handling the art direction and Yannick Ben has choreographed the stunt sequences. Arun Viswa of Shanthi Talkies is bankrolling the project.

While Maaveeran's release date was originally announced as August 11, the makers advanced the release to June 14, following the release date announcement of Rajinikanth's Jailer. The Superstar film, helmed by Nelson Dilipkumar, is all set to hit screens on August 10.

Maaveeran is Sivakarthikeyan's first release of the year, following last year's Prince debacle. After Maaveeran, Sivakarthikeyan will be seen in Ayalaan, a sci-fi film, helmed by Ravi Kumar. He will also be seen in Rajkumar Periyasamy's film, bankrolled by Kamal Haasan.
