Maayakoothu is a 2025 Tamil crime fantasy film which released in theatres in July. Now, the film is gearing up for its theatrical release. Directed by AR Raghavendra, the film stars Nagarajan Kannan, late actor Delhi Ganesh, Sai Dheena, Mu Ramasamy and others.
Maayakoothu revolves around a writer when his fictionalised characters come to life and demand justice from him for their tragically ended fates, making the author take responsibility for his creative actions. The film, despite its modest budget and fewer star names, had opened to decent to good reviews upon its theatrical release. Shot by cinematographer Sundar Ram Krishnan and edited by Nagoor Ramachandran, the film has music by Anjana Rajagopalan.
