Frank Torres, who is famous for his action designs in the movie Revenant, has been roped in for Harshvardhan Rane's upcoming movie Ambush. He will design the action along with Kier Beck of Mad Max Fury fame. They are all set to design a special 17-minute action scene of the movie.
According to the latest news, director Nilesh Sahay is all ready to start shooting for Ambush from November. The shooting will take place in Europe and it will have an international stunt unit on board.
In an interview with Pinkvilla, Kier said, "I have worked with Nylo (Nilesh) on Squad and he gets into the feel of the story on the ground, killing it. Few people can run a set the size he ran on Squad. For Ambush, we want to create an elaborate 17-minute scene, totally original and never done before." He further said that Nilesh is a person with a clear vision on action and that it is going to be amazing. It looks like he is very excited to be back on set.
The pre-production stage of Ambush is going very efficiently and it is expected to commence shooting by the month of December. John Abraham happens to be Nilesh’s friend. He played a key role in setting up the project with Harshvardhan in lead.
Meanwhile, it was also recently announced that the action thriller Squad, under the direction of Nilesh Sahay, marks the debut of Danny Denzongpa’s son, Rinzing. He will star in the film opposite Malavika Raj. Squad will premiere directly on Zee5.
