Another industry kid is set to test his fortunes in films. Narne Nithiin, brother-in-law of RRR, Devara star Jr NTR, is donning the grease paint for the first time in MAD, a campus comedy. The film, to release on October 6, is written and directed by Kalyan Shankar and produced under two leading Telugu production houses Sithara Entertainments and Fortune Four Cinemas.

The pre-release event of MAD was held in Hyderabad in the presence of the cast, crew and several dignitaries from the industry including actors Siddu Jonnalagadda, Dulquer Salmaan, Sreeleela, director Venky Atluri. The lineup of the film comprises several new talents including Sangeeth Shobhan, Ram Nithin, Sri Gouri Priya Reddy, Ananathika Sanilkumar and Gopikaa Udyan.

At the event, Narne Nithiin had high words of praise for his brother-in-law Jr NTR and his fans for supporting the movie throughout the promotional campaign. “If I have the blessings of so many people today, it is only because of him. He has always supported me. We’re coming to theatres on October 6, let’s have fun,” he had said.

During the event, while thanking the guests for gracing the event, Narne Nithiin added. “With Mad, I will always be grateful to director Kalyan Shankar. He never made us feel like we were entering a film set. He made us forget all our worries and maintained a light-hearted ambience on sets throughout. I’m sure audiences will notice how much fun we had working on the film.”

He conveyed his gratitude to the producers S Naga Vamsi, Haarika for believing in the product since the shoot commencement. College Papa, one of the songs, has shaped very well and Bheems Ceciroleo did a fine job, Nithiin mentioned. The debutant appreciated the editor Navin Nooli for ensuring a seamless narrative and said he enjoyed watching the film as a viewer.
