Netflix had announced a series of new content in Tamil, and one of them is Made in Korea. Starring Priyanka Arul Mohan in the lead role, Made in Korea will release on Netflix. The makers released the trailer of the film on social media on Wednesday.

The trailer begins with a young girl who dreams of going to Korea and even learns their culture and language. As she grows up, she remains steadfast in her dream and even in fact lands up there. Her dream destination gives her a rollercoaster of emotions. The young woman also meets new people, learn local culture, and even ends up getting into a trouble. The trailer ends with the woman telling that Korea has shown her identity.

Made in Korea will be having a straight-to-OTT release. A Netflix original, the film will stream in various languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, from March 12 onwards. Made in Korea is helmed by Ra Karthik and also stars South Korean actors Park Hye-jin and No Ho-jin in prominent roles.

Made in Korea is about Shenba, a small-town girl from Kanniyakumari who aspires to travel to South Korea. When she finally gets the opportunity to travel to Seoul, what begins as a fantasy soon transforms into a deeply transformative experience. After landing on her dream destination, Shenba finds reality far more different that she thought and must navigate through unfamiliar surroundings, cultural differences and personal setbacks.
