Roja actress Madhoo gained fame, but there was another way that her career could have gone. The actress rejected a Shah Rukh Khan movie, and could not bag an important film featuring Salman Khan, both of which could have marked her grand debut in Bollywood. The actress, who did not get an opportunity to work with Bollywood Khans, has also made a bold and explosive statement on an ugly on-screen kiss that was almost forced down her throat. Here's everything she shared...

Madhoo would have made her Bollywood debut with Salman Khan's Sanam Bewafa

Madhoo revealed to News18 that she auditioned for Salman Khan-starrer Sanam Bewafa. The movie, which was released in 1991, was a superhit for Salman. The actress had auditioned for the role of Rukshar, she shared. Unfortunately, things did not work out, and Chandni was cast to play the part.

Madhoo could have worked in Shah Rukh Khan's Baazigar

Madhoo was roped in for a movie with Shah Rukh Khan, but that film was put on the back burner and never took off. She was also offered Shilpa Shetty's role in Baazigar at one point in time, but the actress turned it down, saying that she didn't want to do a supporting role. The thought still lingers on her mind, even if she is happy to see Shilpa play the part and was happy to work in Roja around the same time.

Madhoo on an ugly on-screen kiss

Madhoo, who usually avoided intimacy on-screen, was asked to do a scene, which was a peck on the lip from her co-star. The scene was discussed at the last minute, and it made her feel really bad. "They explained to me why it was important, and that’s why I did it. But it was the most horrible and non-convincing thing I had to do," the actress confessed, adding that it was not something that served any purpose, but she did not have that conversation with the director owing to her naivety at 22.
