Madhuram promo video: Arjun Ashokan-Nikhila Vimal starrer promises a complex but fun couple drama

The upcoming Arjun Ashokan-Nikhila Vimal starrer Madhuram’s promo video promises a dynamic couple drama. The video features the lead couple, alongside Joju George, who handles a prominent role in the movie. It also has senior actor Indrans, in a very witty role.

The video features a newly married couple, who are on the path of getting to know each other after arranged marriage. Performed by Arjun and Nikhila, the couple seems to be stressed out since their marriage is not turning out well. Though the subject seems to be serious, the movie is expected to have a funny and lighter tone, which is clear from the fun background score and sarcastic dialogues of the characters. 

The movie marks the second directorial venture of the filmmaker Ahammed Khabeer. He is quite popular among the audience after his impressive debut with Rajisha Vijayan starrer June. The movie that turned out to be successful, had also featured Joju George in a prominent role.

Meanwhile, Madhuram is reported to be an ambitious project from the maker’s kitty as he was quoted many times talking about his movie hopefully. In an earlier interaction with Cinema Express, the director had hinted that the movie ought to give a never-before-seen story, and the plot will follow multiple love stories simultaneously. He had also added that his narration is based on his real-life experiences.

The movie will also feature actors like Shruti Ramachandran, Jagadish and Jaffer Idukki among others. The script is written by Ashiq Aimar, while the camera is handled by Jithin Stanislaus, who was the one behind June as well.

The makers had already announced that the movie will be out on the OTT platform SonyLiv, on December 24, 2021.
