In anticipation of the February 7 premiere of his much-anticipated digital debut, Bada Naam Karenge, Sooraj R. Barjatya recently made an appearance on Indian Idol to promote the show. In a special episode honouring Rajshri Productions' biggest blockbusters, he enthralled viewers with an intriguing making-of tale from Hum Aapke Hain Koun...! The filmmaker revealed that Madhuri Dixit was instrumental in bringing Salman Khan's now-iconic nighty performance to life in Didi Tera Devar Deewana.
After candidate Ritika enthralled the audience with her rendition of the song, Barjatya reminisced about simpler times. It took 16 days of practice and nine days of filming to complete this lengthy and complex song. They aimed to culminate the entire process with a grand celebration. His dad was surprised when he told him Salman should wear nothing but a nightgown in the last scene. The filmmaker's dad thought it was a terrible idea, but Salman was on board in an instant. Because everyone on the crew was so excited, they let the ladies vote. Madhuri and the rest of the dancers thought it was a wonderful concept and wanted them to do it. Moreover, Madhuri personally applied Salman's makeup for the occasion. Barjatya is so grateful that they have revived these priceless moments.
