The Madras High Court recently issued a stern warning to Vishal over the Lyca Productions case. The Mark Antony actor had failed to submit the documents asked by the court.

The Lyca Productions case
According to a report by ETimes, Vishal had borrowed a whopping sum from a popular film financier, but failed to repay the same. He then entered into an agreement with Lyca Productions, through which they had decided that the rights of films produced by Vishal would go to the production firm until the actor repaid the loan. However, Vishal failed to settle his dues.

Lyca Productions approached the court in this regard and appealed against the actor and the court asked Vishal to repay the loan. His latest film Mark Antony, which was slated to hit screens on September 15, was also stalled for release temporarily. Vishal's lawyer had then promised to submit the documents after which the film was cleared to hit screens worldwide.

Court warns Vishal
However, Vishal failed to submit the documents even after ten days of the film's release. The court then warned Vishal stating that he was not bigger than the court and that strict action would be taken if he did not submit the documents at the earliest.

Mark Antony, a roaring success
Meanwhile, Mark Antony, which stars Vishal and SJ Suryah in the lead, has become one of the biggest successes of Vishal. The film opened to positive reviews and was billed as Vishal's big comeback. SJ Suryah was also considered as the star of the vehicle. OTTplay critic P Sangeetha wrote, "Mark Antony is a classic example of mindless fun which also packs a punch. Though Vishal is back with a bang, it's SJ Suryah, who is the real star of the show. Watch it for his high-voltage performance."
