Madras Matinee, the 2025 Tamil film which hit theatres on June 6, will be available for streaming on Sun NXT via OTTplay Premium from July 4, 2025. While sharing the OTT announcement of the film on social media, Sun NXT wrote, “Madras Matinee is a tribute to the unsung heroes around us.”

Karthikeyan Mani has directed Madras Matinee, which features notable actor Sathyaraj along with Kaali Venkat and Roshini Haripriyan. Shelly, George Mariyan, Sunil Sugatha, Madhumitha, Geetha Kailasam, and Banupriya are also part of the cast.
Madras Motion Pictures Productions has backed the film, which has Anand GK as the cinematographer. KC Balasarangan has scored the music for the film.
Madras Matinee takes a close look at the family of an auto-rickshaw driver, named Kannan as they struggle with financial issues, and aspire for a better life. Through their tale, the film portrays the struggles of the working class.

The Tamil courtroom drama, The Verdict, landed on Sun NXT and OTTplay Premium on June 27, 2025. In the film, Namrutha finds herself in the dock when her billionaire friend is found murdered.
