Maeri: Sai Deodhar shines as fierce and loving mother Tara in new poster

After releasing a few days ago, Maeri has been receiving positive responses from viewers and they have praised the plot and performances of the actors. Starring Sai Deodhar in a pivotal role, the show is a compelling drama that delves into the profound depths of a mother's love as it showcases how a woman would go to extraordinary lengths to protect her child. Days after its release, the makers shared a new poster of the show.

On December 8, ZEE5 shared a new poster of Maeri. In the poster, Sai Deodhar poses as Tara Deshpande while her daughter Manasvi can be seen in the background. While Sai's expression looks intense, the makers captioned the poster: "As loving as a mother is, she is equally fierce and protective. #Maeri streaming now only on #ZEE5."

Sai plays the role of Tara, a chemistry teacher, a doting mother, and a wife in the show. The show showcases a mother’s relentless pursuit of justice for their child, as she navigates a complex world filled with cruelty, sexual abuse, and brutal emotional and physical torture. Earlier while speaking about her role in Maeri, Sai told IANS that playing the character of Tara Deshpande has been an incredibly intense and emotional journey for her. "Tara is a mother who is pushed to her limits by an unimaginable tragedy, and her quest for justice becomes both her strength and her burden," she said.
