Magudam first look out: Vishal to appear in three getups for Ravi Arasu's gangster film

The first look poster of the upcoming Tamil film Magudam, starring Vishal in the lead role, was released by the makers on social media on Wednesday, for the occasion of Vinayakar Chaturthi. In the film, Vishal will be having three looks as seen on the poster. 

Magudam first look unveiled:

Actor Vishal who delivered this year's first blockbuster success Madha Gaja Raja, has announced a new film. It is called Magudham and the first look poster of the film was released by the makers on social media on Wednesday for the occasion of Vinayark Chaturthi.

Magudam will have Vishal in three different getups. The first one features Vishal in a Retro-style shirt and pants, with a handlebar moustache, while the other is an aged getup with white hair. The third look is that of a corporate employee. Helmed by Ravi Arasu, the film also stars Dushara Vijayan, Anjali and Yogi Babu in important roles, as part of the cast.

What is the status of Magudam?

The shooting for Magudam is ongoing with the makers filming the second schedule in Ooty as we speak. While it marks the first time Dushara Vijayan is working with Vishal, Anjali was also part of Madha Gaja Raja. 

While not much about Magudam has been revealed by the makers, as per reports, the film is touted to be a gangster drama. Ravi Arasum, who has previously done Eetti and Ayngaran, promises Magudam to be with the same intensity and will be made on a large scale. 

Magudam will have music scored by actor and composer GV Prakash, who earlier worked in Vishal's Mark Antony. The technical crew also includes cinematographer Richard M Nathan, and editor Srikanth NB. G Durairaj will be doing the production design.
