Maguva Mazaka, starring Madhupriya and DS Rao, to stream on UrvasiOTT

Actress Madhupriya, who shot to fame with the OTT release Maguva, is back with another film titled Maguva Mazaka. The film, also starring DS Rao, Ravindra Narayan in pivotal roles, is written and directed by Sampath Raj. Maguva Mazaka, produced by Phani Raj in collaboration with Tummalapalli Rama Satyanarayana of Bhimavaram Talkies, is heading for a direct-to-OTT release on Urvasi OTT on October 8. The makers have wrapped up all the post-production formalities associated with the project recently.

Maguva Mazaka is a revenge drama where the lead character, a woman, is keen to see the end of the men who destroyed her life. The film takes off with the woman being interrogated for the murder of four men and amputating the legs of a forest officer. She is tortured day and night to reveal her motive, during which she opens up about her gory past. Phani Raj, the producer believes that the director Sampath has handled the subject sensitively and is hopeful that the audiences will take a liking to it.

"Madhupriya has already created a name for herself with Maguva. She is so good in this film that the audience will end up telling Madhupriya Mazaka," said the director. PS has scored the music for the film which has dialogues by Mani. Srinu has cranked the camera for the same. It'll be interesting to see how this lesser-known film will fare on Urvasi OTT, with many biggies slated to release in theatres and OTT this weekend, including Konda Polam, Aaradugula Bullet and Raja Raja Chora.
