Mahalaya is here and so are the different offerings of Mahishasuramarduni on other channels. Zee Bangla will air their much-anticipated Mahalaya special, Nava Rupe Devi Durga, on October 2 from 5 am. This enchanting one-hour presentation promises to take viewers on a visually stunning journey through the nine divine forms of Goddess Durga, beautifully portrayed by renowned actress Subhashree Ganguly. 

Subhashree Ganguly will be seen as Mahamaya and Mahisashurmardini 

This year, Subhashree reprises her role as Mahamaya and Mahisashurmardini. Nava Rupe Devi Durga will explore the unique tales behind each of the nine forms of the Goddess, culminating in the legendary battle against Mahishasura. The cast includes Rishita Nandy as Shoiloputri, Ankita Mallick as Brahmacharini, Mohona Maiti as Chandraghonta, Divyani Mondal as Kushmanda, Shweta Bhattacharya as Skandamata, Pallavi Sharma as Katyayani, Aratrika Maity as Kalratri, Swikriti Majumder as Mahagouri and Dona Bhowmik as Siddhidatri. The ensemble cast also features Aarush as Kartik, Abhishek Bose as Mahadev, Arnab Chakraborty as Mahisashur, Sharly Modak as Parvati, Ritu Pyne as Saraswati and Somu Sarkar as Lakshmi.
