The reality show Bigg Boss will be returning soon with its 18th season. Bigg Boss 18, to be hosted by superstar Salman Khan, is expected to go on air in October 2024. The reality show will have a new set of celebrities participating as contestants. Several celebrity names have been rumoured to be a part of Bigg Boss 18. Actress Priyal Gor is one of them. She was recently seen in the Netflix film Maharaj, which featured Junaid Khan and Jaideep Ahlawat in lead roles.
Priyal Gor to participate in Bigg Boss 18?
News18 reported that Priyal Gor has been approached by the makers of Bigg Boss 18. "Yes, it is true. Priyal was approached for Bigg Boss 18. She has held discussions with the makers and is excited about it. Most likely, she will finalise her participation and sign the contract soon," a source told the news publication.
For those who are unaware, Priyal Gor has been a part of television shows like Ram Milaye Jodi, Ichhapyaari Naagin, Dekha Ek Khwaab, and more. Talking about her character in Maharaj, Priyal Gor was seen as Leelavati. The film, directed by Siddharth P Malhotra, was a direct-to-OTT release on Netflix.
Earlier, while speaking with the publication, Gor revealed how she came on board for the film. "The director of this movie, coincidentally, was the producer for a previous project I was involved in. During the uncertain times of lockdown, I had reached out to him, expressing my interest in future projects. He later called me and offered the role of Leelavati in Maharaj," she revealed.
Bigg Boss 18 tentative contestants' list
Meanwhile, Bigg Boss 18 is expected to premiere on October 5 this year. The buzz is that Sheezan Khan, Sameera Reddy, Kashish Kapoor, and others are approached for the reality show. An official confirmation from the makers is awaited.
