Maharani OTT release date: Where to stream Roshan Mathew, Shine Tom Chacko's family entertainer online

Malayalam film, Maharani, is all set to make their OTT debut more than a year after its theatrical release. The movie will be streaming on Manorama Max soon, according to latest reports.

The film, which hit the big screen in November 2023, was anticipated to release on an online platform much sooner. However, it was delayed due to unknown reasons. 

It has now been confirmed that Manorama Max has bagged the digital rights of the movie. An exact date of release has not been confirmed. It is safe to assume that the family entertainer will begin streaming on the popular Malayalam OTT platform from the first or second week of July. Recently, Pattth, Karnika and Am Ah began streaming on it. Sreenath Bhasi's Azadi will be accessible on Manorama Max from June 27.

What is Roshan Mathew's Maharani all about?

Kinassery, a fictitious village in Alappuzha district in Kerala, serves as the basis for the story. It revolves around a disagreement between two people escalates into a conflict between two families and eventually erupts into a riot in their community. The trailer suggests that Shine and Roshan play brothers in the film. As suggested by the phone conversations, their marriage is at the centre of the major plot. Nisha Sarang portrays their mother, and Johny Antony their father. The story has not been revealed much in the teaser. Nonetheless, it promises to be a fun-filled family entertainer.

G Marthandan has directed this family drama. Balu Varghese, Pramod Veliyanad, Jaffer Idukki, Harisree Ashokan, Kailash, Gokulan, and Hridayam-fame Ashwath Lal are among the film's supporting actors. Ratheesh Ravi, who has written screenplays for Ishq and Adi, is the creator of the script. Gopi Sundar composed the music for Maharani.
