Maharani OTT release – THIS streaming platform bags digital rights of the Roshan Mathew-Shine Tom Chacko starrer

Maharani, the comedy drama, which is helmed by the renowned director G Marthandan, hit the theatres in November 2023. The project stars a stellar star cast including Roshan Mathew, Shine Tom Chacko and others in the key roles. Maharani, which marked director G Marthandan’s comeback to filmmaking after a long gap of five years, however, received mixed reviews from and ended up as a below-average grosser.

Maharani’s OTT rights are bagged by HR OTT

As per the latest updates, the digital rights of Maharani have been bagged by the popular streaming platform HR OTT. For the unversed, HR OTT is on its way to emerge as one of the leading streaming platforms in the Indian entertainment space with some notable releases. However, the makers of the G Marthandan directorial are yet to officially announce this update.

Maharani OTT release date and time

Even though the Maharani team have not officially announced the OTT release date and time of the movie, the latest updates suggest that the multi-starrer will hit the screens by the end of December 2023, or the beginning of January 2024. The Roshan Mathew starrer will be available on streaming only in Malayalam language, for now. The OTT release time and further details will be revealed very soon.

All about Maharani

The G Marthandan directorial, which is a comedy drama is set in the picturesque backdrop of Alappuzha. Maharani revolves around the life of a carefree youngster named Vijeesh, who is a Casanova. However, after having his shares of affairs, Vijeesh is planning to settle down and marry a wealthy girl. He shares a great bond with his brother Ajeesh (Shine Tom Chacko), a simple man who is going steady with his girlfriend Kavya and plans to marry her.

Along with Roshan Mathew and Shine Tom Chacko, the movie features a stellar star cast including Harisree Ashokan, Johny Antony, Jaffar Idukki, Balu Varghese, Nisha Sarang, Kailash, Sruthy Jayan, Ashwath Lal, and many others in the supporting roles. Maharani is produced by the banners SB Films and Badusha Productions.
