Mahesh Babu thanks fans, entire team for the blockbuster success of Sarkaru Vaari Paata

The star’s confidence truly showed at a recent promotional event (Major trailer launch) when he said, “The last four years, whatever I’ve touched has turned out to be a blockbuster and I hope Sarkaru Vaari Paata will continue my success streak.” His words proved right with Sarkaru Vaari Paata turning out to be a runaway success despite mixed reception from critics and audiences.

The Pokiri actor took to social media earlier today to thank his fans and the entire team of Sarkaru Vaari Paata for making it a blockbuster success. He wrote, “Overwhelmed by the outpouring of love for #SarkaruVaariPaata! To all my super fans, a heartfelt thank you for making this film a blockbuster success! Gratitude always.”

Sarkaru Vaari Paata has already collected Rs 100 crore share across the globe in five days, with the US collections being in the excess of $2.1 million. The film is only second to SS Rajamouli’s RRR across various regions in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. This is the star’s fourth consecutive box-office hit after Maharshi, Sarileru Neekevvaru and Bharat Ane Nenu.

The film revolves around Mahesh, a US-based finance company owner, an orphan, who returns to India to collect a huge sum defaulted by one of his customers. Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead while Samuthirakani, Vennela Kishore, Subbaraju and Nadhiya essay important roles as well. The action entertainer’s post-theatrical streaming rights have been bagged by Amazon Prime Video.
