Mahesh Babu’s Sarkaru Vaari Paata confirmed for Sankranti 2022 release, 'First Notice' on July 31

The second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic left many producers and filmmakers in Telugu cinema in disarray, altering the release plans of several biggies and forcing a few projects to also take the OTT route. However, it looks like it hasn't affected the team behind Mahesh Babu's Sarkaru Vaari Paata much, which was announced as a Sankranti 2022 release, earlier this year. The producers, Mythri Movie Makers, GMB Entertainment and 14 Reels Plus, today, have reiterated that Sarkaru Vaari Paata will release as per schedule, much to the delight of Mahesh Babu's fans. 

In addition, the film's 'First Notice' (a.k.a first look) will also be out on July 31. Announcing the same, the makers also shared an intentioanlly blurry, flashy image where Mahesh Babu is facing the sun while walking with a bag in his hand. He's surrounded by a handful of automobiles, high-end cars, motorbikes and a few men lying on the ground in the poster that certainly hints at an on-screen feast for action junkies. 

Sarkaru Vaari Paata is written and directed by Parasuram Petla, who had last helmed the Vijay Deverakonda-Rashmika Mandanna blockbuster Geetha Govindam. Keerthy Suresh plays the female lead in the film whose latest schedule is being shot in Hyderabad. Thaman is on board as the composer for the action entertainer that also stars Vennela Kishore and Subbaraju in supporting roles. Cinematographer R Madhie, ace editor Marthand K Venkatesh and art direcctor AS Prakash form the technical crew of the project. Mahesh Babu's last release was Sarileru Neekevvaru in 2020 that ran to packed houses during its theatrical run.
