Nadaaniyan, a rom-com film, starring Khushi Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan, has been getting mixed reviews from fans as well as critics. In a recent interaction, Mahima Chaudhry, who played Khushi Kapoor's mother in the film, opened up about the film's negative reviews. She also mentioned that she has been receiving lots of love and positive messages.

Mahima Chaudhary opened up about Nadaaniyan's negative reviews and added, "The negative reviews are okay. The audience is divided. Whether it was Animal or any other film in the past, they were criticised. Some people like real cinema, some like make-believe. I sometimes wanted to watch real cinema. Sometimes I want to watch something easy. It will always be divided."

She also added that after the film released, she called her friends and close ones, and the majority of people have told her that they have already watched.

The OTTplay's review for Nadaaniyan reads, "Nadaaniyan tiptoes between cliché and charm, spinning a love story that’s as predictable as it is pleasant. It may not rewrite the rom-com rulebook, but it certainly plays by it with flair."

Nadaaniyan plot

Nadaaniyan features Ibrahim Ali Khan as Arjun Mehta and Khushi Kapoor as Pia Jai Singh. Their story revolves around a love affair in college where they pretend to be a couple for face, but soon develop real feelings for each other, leading to complications and misunderstandings.

Apart from Khushi Kapoor and Ibrahim Ali Khan, Nadaaniyan also stars Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza and Jugal Hansraj in pivotal roles. It is directed by Shauna Gautam and produced by Karan Johar, Apoorva Mehta and Somen Mishra under Dharmatic Entertainment.
