Main Hero Boll Raha Hu episode 1 audience review: To watch or not?

The first episode of Hindi TV actor Parth Samthaan's web show Main Hero Boll Raha Hu released on AltBalaji and Zee5, and it's all that his fans have been talking about since its release on April 20.

In the series, Samthaan plays an ordinary boy named Nawab, who hails from Bareilly, and the plot will showcase his rise as a gangster. The character of Nawab has already become a fan favourite, despite the show being just an episode old. Many viewers have called the series a "one-man show" and no points for guessing who that man is.

Samthaan was last seen in the TV show, Kausauti Zindagii Kay, which was a revived version of the 2001 series that featured Shweta Tiwari, Hiten Tejwani, Ronit Roy and Urvashi Dholakia in the lead roles. The latest version also had Erica Fernandes and Karan Patel.

Ekta Kapoor, who produced the series, had also introduced Samthaan's character from Main Hero Boll Raha Hu with a teaser when he had tested positive for COVID-19.

Main Hero Boll Raha Hu also stars Bollywood actress Patralekhaa, who was last seen in ZEE5's Forbidden Love in the role of Kaya.

Samthaan will also be seen opposite Alia Bhatt in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Gangubai Kathiawadi, which will mark the TV actor's debut Bollywood venture.
