Maja Ma announcement: Madhuri Dixit is back with her 'dancing diva' avatar, see pic

The dancing diva is back with yet another highly anticipated project to spread her charm through her extraordinary movies. Prime Video has just announced its first Indian Amazon Original movie Maja Ma starring Madhuri Dixit. Produced by Leo Media Collective and Amritpal Singh Bindra, the Anand Tiwari directorial is a heart-warming family drama featuring the Dhak Dhak girl in a complex, nuanced and a fearless avatar.

The OTT giant shared a poster of the upcoming flick featuring Madhuri posing in a dance move sporting a pink lehnga choli with traditional jewellery. Prime Video took the image on its official Instagram handle with a special caption that reads, "the dancing diva is back and how! blessing your screens to do away with your mid-week blues - now we're feeling Maja Ma watch #MajaMaOnPrime, Oct 6 (sic)."

Talking about the upcoming film, Aparna Purohit, head of India Originals, Prime Video mentioned in arecent statement, "Maja Ma is the first of many Original Movies, that will launch directly on our service. This movie is also special for us as it showcases a female protagonist and her strength of conviction, beautifully portrayed on screen by the Bollywood icon, Madhuri Dixit.” 

Apart from Madhuri, Maja Ma also has a huge ensemble of some of the finest actors of the industry including Gajraj Rao, Ritwik Bhowmik, Barkha Singh, Srishti Shrivastava, Rajit Kapur, Sheeba Chaddha, Simone Singh, Malhar Thakar and Ninad Kamat. 

Prime Video India’s Original movie is slates to have world wide digital premiere on October 6.
