Madhuri Dixit is now gearing up for the release of her digital debut film, Majaa Maa with Amazon Prime Video. The streaming giant announced the title of the film along with a poster and a glimpse of the movie at the See Where It Takes You event that took place today in Mumbai.
Prime Video took to social media as well to share the poster of the film, where Madhuri Dixit is seen with her co-stars amidst the backdrop of pouring ribbons, indicating a celebration. Everyone looks happy and excited except for Srishti Shrivastava. With her hand on her forehead, she looks frustrated. The film is touted to be a family drama, revolving around a mother (Dixit) who is busy preparing for her son's wedding. Sharing the poster on Instagram, Prime Video wrote in the caption: "#MajaMaaOnPrime: M se Maa, M se Madhuri. A warm, funny story about a loving mother and her son’s marriage plans."

At the announcement event today, the streamer had also unveiled a teaser of the upcoming drama, which introduces the members of the family. And how can there be a wedding and Madhuri Dixit in it without a dance? The first glimpse also showed some bright and colourful dance numbers by Madhuri at what looks like her son's wedding.

The film is produced by Leo Media Collective and Amritpal Singh Bindra of Bandish Bandits fame. It is written by Sumit Batheja. Further information about the film and its release date are awaited.
Meanwhile, the streamer has announced 41 titles that it will be releasing this year. The titles include Shahid Kapoor's debut series Farzi, Naga Chaitanya's OTT debut series, titled Dhootha, and also Breathe: Into The Shadows Season 2, starring Abhishek Bachchan, Nitya Menen and Amit Sadh.
