Adivi Sesh will be back in action in 2022 with a bang through two theatrical releases - Major and Hit 2; the former will also mark his official entry into Bollywood. Major, the biopic of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, directed by Goodachari fame Sashi Kiran Tikka, will be the first one to hit theatres across three languages (Hindi, Malayalam and Telugu) on February 11, 2021. He shares screen space with Sobhita Dhulipala and Saiee Manjrekar in the film.

The actor has already finished dubbing for the Hindi version of Major, whose teaser was released recently. The team has released a new update about its first single, Hrudayama, today. "It's drizzling Love ♥️ #MajorFirstSingle on 7th Jan at 11:07 AM. #Hrudayama #PonMalare #MajorTheFilm," a tweet from GMB Entertainment's social media handle read, confirming the news. Going by the update, the song will release only in Telugu and Malayalam.

Hrudayama a.k.a Pon Malare promises to be a soothing romantic number shot on the lead pair Adivi Sesh and Saiee Manjrekar. The announcement poster even has water dripping down, from their faces. Sid Sriram has crooned for the number while Krishna Kanth and VNV Ramesh have penned the lyrics in Telugu and Malayalam languages respectively. This is the first leg of the promotions that the Major team has planned, ahead of its release.

Major was mounted on a grand canvas, shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and will be dubbed in Malayalam. The biopic is presently in post-production stages. The film traces Major Sandeep Unnikrishna's journey from childhood, teenage, taking audiences through his glorious years in the army to the tragic events of the Mumbai attack where he breathed his last. Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murli Sharma play crucial roles in the film produced by Sony Pictures Films India, Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies.
