After the likes of Prabhas, Allu Arjun, Jr NTR and Ram Charan, it’s now Adivi Sesh’s turn to prove his worth across the length and breadth of this film-crazy nation. His next film, Major, the biopic of 26/11 hero and armyman Sandeep Unnikrishnan, is set to hit theatres on June 3 across Hindi, Telugu and Malayalam languages. With story and screenplay by Adivi Sesh himself, the film is helmed by Goodachari fame Sashi Kiran Tikka.
Sricharan Pakala scores the music for the multilingual. The first song from the film, Hrudayama, the haunting melody sung by Sid Sriram, already opened to a fantastic response among music lovers. The makers have kickstarted the film’s promotional campaign ahead of the release with the trailer launch recently. Now, they plan to release the second single, Oh Isha, tomorrow. Adivi Sesh and Saiee Manjrekar are as effervescent as ever in the song announcement poster.
Oh Isha promises to be another melody in the offing. The promo of the song is expected to be released later today. Meanwhile, the trailer of Major has been a big hit with netizens, going by Youtube numbers, where it has garnered over 35 million views across three languages. Major is jointly produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies.
Major showcases the various highs and lows in the journey of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan right from his childhood, teenage years to his time in the army besides a series of events at the Mumbai attack where he breathed his last. The film that also stars Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murli Sharma is cinematographed by Vamsi Patchipulusu. Major will clash at the theatres alongside Kamal Haasan’s Vikram, which is also having a multilingual release.
