Major: The trailer of the Sandeep Unnikrishnan biopic starring Adivi Sesh, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar will be out on this day!

Adivi Sesh's magnum opus, Major, the biopic of armyman Sandeep Unnikrishnan, was in the news recently for its new release date - June 3. The film, made in Hindi and Telugu simultaneously, will also release in Malayalam. Directed by Goodachari maker, Sashi Kiran Tikka, the film is jointly produced by Sony Pictures Films India in association with Mahesh Babu's GMB Entertainment and A+S Movies. Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar play the female leads in Major that also features Prakash Raj, Revathi and Murli Sharma in key roles. 

The lead actor who's been hinting at an update on Major over the last few days on Twitter - and finally the cat is out of the bag. The team, through a video, announced that the theatrical trailer of Major will arrive on May 9. The video features several key characters from the film mouthing dialogues of the same sequence in both Hindi and Telugu; Sobhita Dhulipala, Adivi Sesh, Prakash Raj, Murli Sharma, Saiee Manjrekar and Revathi are all seen in the video.

Apparently, an early version of the Major trailer was shown to a select audience in Mumbai and it received a terrific response. A single from the film, Hrudayama, and its teaser have already been launched. The film has been in the making for a more than 2 years now. Sricharan Pakala is its composer. Adivi Sesh has penned the story and screenplay for Major with Abburi Ravi assisting him with the Telugu script and dialogues. Vamsi Patchipulusu has cranked the camera for the multilingual that's edited by Vinay Kumar Sirigineedi and Kodati Pavan Kalyan.

Avinash Kolla is the production designer while Sunil Rodrigues has handled the action choreography. Ramajogaiah Sastry and Ritesh Rajwada have penned the lyrics for the Telugu and Hindi versions. Rekha Boggarapu is the costume designer. After Major, Adivi Sesh next has a release in July, Hit 2, the sequel to the Vishwak Sen, Ruhani Sharma starrer Hit, directed by Sailesh Kolanu, that also stars Meenakshii Chaudhary.
