Malaikottai Vaaliban OTT release: Here’s where to watch this Mohanlal-starrer period drama

The Lijo Jose Pellissery directorial Malaikottai Vaaliban has finally hit the big screen on January 25. The film, which is helmed as superstar Mohanlal’s highly anticipated movie in 2024, is expected to make another blockbuster for the actor at the box office following his recent hit, Neru.

The makers of Malaikottai Vaaliban have revealed that the film will be available in the digital space after its theatrical run. The period drama will be streaming on Disney+ Hotstar. However, the exact date of the OTT release has not been announced yet.

Nevertheless, the picture is anticipated to have a solid basis because of director Lijo's unparalleled creative ability.

Malaikottai Valiban is expected to give the veteran actor another superhit after his recent courtroom drama, Neru, which is streaming on Disney+ Hotstar.

Plot of Malaikottai Vaaliban

Mohanlal is portrayed as a nomadic wrestler who has established himself as the undisputed champion in various lands. His assistants, Ayyanar and Chinnappaiyyan, are by his side at all times. But after Vaaliban meets the stunning actress and dancer Rangapattinam Rangarani, things take a different turn. He also meets Chamathakan, a foe who travels with Vaaliban and guides the hero to his greatest test, at about the same time.

Sonalee Kulkarni, Danish Sait, Hareesh Peradi, Sonalee Kulkarni, Manikandan R Achari, Manoj Moses, Katha Nandi, Rajeev Pillai, and others play important roles in the film alongside Mohanlal. The screenplay for Malaikottai Valiban is written by P S Rafeeque along with the director. Apart from Malayalam, the film is releasing in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada.
