Master and Maaran fame Malavika Mohanan had debuted in Kannada cinema way back in 2016, when she was signed up by director Preetham Gubbi for the launchpad of Prithvi, the grandson of renowned musician GK Venkatesh. The actress had won praise for her outing in the film, but was not seen in Sandalwood thereafter. But it seems that Malavika is still interested in being a part of the industry, or at least act with an actor from Kannada cinema.

In an #AskMalavika Twitter session that she had with fans yesterday, she was asked if there is any chance of her doing a Kannada film and if so, who she would like to act with. Malavika’s instant answer, of course, was that she would like to work with everyone’s current favourite Rocking Star Yash, but she explained that the desire to collaborate with him did not stem from his most recent success. Malavika said that she was a fan of Yash even before KGF: Chapter 1 happened and that she was confident he would attain stardom soon enough. “I have been a big fan of Yash even before KGF part 1 released & always believed he would make it big! So happy and inspiring to see his journey and see him shine like this! 🔥 I hope get to work with him soon :),” she wrote to the question.

On that note, the actress also added that her dream role is to play a warrior princess and that she is the biggest fan of Baahubali star Prabhas as well, “So I don’t think a lot of people know this about me but I am the BIGGEST fan of Baahubali! Like I would’ve watched both the parts at least 10-15 times 😅 I loved Prabhas in the film & would love to work with him! ☺️” tweeted Malavika.

During the #AskMalavika session, she also mentioned that while her favourite actor is Thalapathy Vijay, Shah Rukh Khan is her first and forever crush. “My first and forever crush! SRK! 🥰♥️♥️ when I met him the first time I was so nervous, he was standing in front of me & I couldn’t even get up to say hi because I was so scared and starstruck! Hehe 🙈” was her tweet.
