Malayalam actress Anicka Vikhraman shares photos of injuries, alleges assault by ex-boyfriend: 'He paid cops and they asked me to settle'

Malayalam actor Anicka Vikhraman has accused her ex-boyfriend of Anoop Pillai of assaulting her both mentally and physically. She has also shared pictures of her injuries, which she allegedly suffered after a recent attack by her boyfriend. In the picture, Anicka could be seen with swollen eyes and several bruises on her body. She has also shared screenshots of her WhatsApp conversation with her boyfriend. 

Anicka recounted her ordeal in great detail in her social media post. "IInspite of leaving these incidents behind I ve been receiving threatening calls, me and my family is being degraded continuously. The last pic was clicked before my ex boyfriend s attack on me. I was very excited to show my hair cut anyways it’s in the past. I ll start posting pics from this week I have completely recovered now I have started doing shoots hope everything will be fine now onwards (sic)," she wrote on her Facebook account. 

Anicka also alleged that she felt gaslit by her ex-boyfriend and that prevented her from reporting the abuse to her family and the cops. She noted revealed that when she came under the assault for the first time, she let him get away after "he fell on my feet and cried." However, she claimed that she approached the cops when she was attacked the second time in Bengaluru. "The 2nd time he did it was of no use as he paid the cops money and they asked me to settle the matter which in turn gave him the confidence to plan this attack on me. I have been manipulated all these years and cheated on multiple times so had to leave him (sic)," she said in her statement. 

The Bengaluru police have reacted to Anicka's allegations and asked to provide more details. "Please mention Police Station details where you filed the complaint," read the comment from the Bengaluru City Police page. 

Anicka has claimed that her boyfriend has escaped to the US but she continues to receive threatening phone calls from him.
