Actor Kamal Haasan had recently come out with a video, in which he thanked the audience for the sucess of his recent outing, Vikram. The film, directed by Lokesh Kanagaraj, has Vijay Sethupathi, Fahadh Faasil, Suriya, Narain, Gayathrie Shankar, Narain, Arjun Das, Chemban Jose Vinod as part of the star cast. Kamal Haasan not only praised the star cast, but also the entire technical team of the film for their hardwork and dedication. He also heaped praise on the young director Lokesh Kanagaraj. Kamal said that movie lovers, irrespective of language, always encourage films with good content and performances. The video was released in five languages, Tamil, Malayalam, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi.

Now, producer Anto Joseph has shared a lengthy post on Kamal Haasan's recent video and said that it fills every Malayali heart with pride. He wrote on his social media handle," The video shared by Sri Kamalhaasan on Twitter fills every Malayali heart with deserved pride. When he says, "Malayalis wholeheartedly accept good cinema with no heed to barriers of the langauge" it makes one want to applaud and whistle as we have done so often in the magical atmosphere of a movie theatre! In reality, we should be thanking Kamal Sir. "Vikram" marks the re-emergence of the scintillating days of the true-blue Kamal Era. "

He added that the huge number of Malayalam actors have added lustre to the film. He wrote," Out happiness fills over to note the array of Malayali stars adding lustre to his shine- Fahadh Faasil, Chemban Vinod, Narain, Kalidas Jayaram, Girish Gangadharan. As these bright sparks of the Malayalam film industry add their might to the huge success Vikram has garnered, the barriers of the language crumble and the art form called cinema rises tall and proud above all divisions. Lokesh Kanagaraj, who enthralled us with "Kaithi", "Master" and "Maanagaram" entices us again with his mastery in "Vikram". A big salute to the directorial genious from across the border."
