Composer Mark K Robin kickstarted his career in 2017 with the short film Malli Kaluddam that also won an award at a popular film festival. He continued his good work for another short film Dily Bily, that won big at the Noida International Film Festival. He followed it up with another impressive, critically short film Dialogue In The Dark, directed by Prasanth Varma.

Noting his credible work for many short films, Prasanth Varma introduced him to feature films with Awe, which went onto win multiple National Awards. He barely had the need to look back later. He has several credible films in his filmography including Priyadarshi, Ananya Nagalla starrer Mallesham, Naveen Polishetty’s Agent Sai Srinivasa Athreya, and the zombie comedy Zombie Reddy.

He made his way into the big league with the chartbuster Waat Laga Denge for Vijay Deverakonda and Puri Jagannadh’s Liger. His terrific form continued with Praveen Sattaru’s action thriller The Ghost, starring Nagarjuna, Sonal Chauhan, where he was appreciated for his stylish background score. He also hogged the limelight for composing the first-ever rap song in Nagarjuna’s career.

After an impressive stint in Telugu cinema, he is extending his wings to Hindi cinema with 8 AM Metro, where he reunites with Mallesham filmmaker Raj Rachakonda again. Noted singers Jubin Nautiyal, Vishal Mishra, Jonita Gandhi and Nooran sisters have crooned for his numbers that’s growing on listeners across multiple music streaming platforms.

8 AM Metro starring Gulshan Devaiah, Saiyami Kher released in theatres earlier this month and earned impressive reviews from critics, audiences in its limited run. Reports suggest Mark K Robin’s good work for the film has earned him more offers from Mumbai and the composer’s excitement knows no bounds. Some of his other popular films include Pushpaka Vimanam, Mishan Impossible.
